I don’t say this lightly: my kittens are OBSESSED. The second this fluttering, chirping chaos fish started moving, it was over. Full predator mode. Pouncing, bunny-kicking, dramatic slides across the floor — National Geographic, but tiny and fuzzy.The realistic bird sounds plus the random movements absolutely trigger their “must destroy” instincts. I love that it has different speed settings because one kitten prefers “gentle prey” and the other prefers “maximum chaos.”

This cat toy is simple to put together. I was unsure at first how the star shaped fabric attached to the middle but there are instructions in the product description where the pictures are shown- "7 - Step Quick Assembly-Done in 1 minute". Just unscrew the top and the base, insert the fabric and screw the top and base back on. It probably is about a minute. There is a paper instruction sheet included in the package but it is in a language I can not read. I charged the toy before use, and then put it out for my cats. Sadie, the black and white cat, was a little afraid at first. She would jump back every time it moved but then came back again to investigate. Raven, the all black cat, loved it from the beginning.

My cats LOVE this toy. As soon as I turned it on and it started chirping they jumped right on it!. It doesn't come with any instructions in the box but it was easy enough to figure out how to assemble it. Just twist the pieces off the top and bottom, place it between the fabric and twist them back on after snapping the feather in. The feather stays attached for about 30 seconds before my cats ripped it off, but that's pretty standard for cat toys. The auto off doesn't really work, it would be nice if it did because the chirping can get annoying after a bit. It has 4 modes that vary the pattern for the feather, which I like on behalf of my cats (not sure they care or notice the difference).

My cats love this toy. After charging it and some very simple assembly, it was ready to go and wow! it goes fast! The little "creature" speeds around so fast, it really gets their attention and keeps it. They lose interest in many toys or they end up under the couch, but not this one. They became obsessed and do not stop the whole time it's out. I usually turn it off and put it away after about an hour so they can go back to other favorite activities like watching birds or squirrels in the yard or napping. I really like that both of them can interact with it and play at the same time

My indoor cat needed more exercise, and this has been a great way to encourage more movement during the day. It feels like a real chase game instead of another toy that just sits there.
